Faculty and Proxy Users can export course information to an Excel file. Included in the spreadsheet are course and item information for the selected course.
The Excel spreadsheet contains the following workbooks:
Details: Displays course details such as Course ID, Name, Description, Semester, etc. Column A of the spreadsheet contains all fields from the Courses table, while Column B shows the values in those fields for that particular course.
Items: Displays item information such as Item ID, Pickup Location, Processing Location, Current Status, etc. Row 1 contains all fields from the Items table. All items associated with the course are listed in the remaining rows.
- From the Main Menu, click on a course
- Under the Faculty Course Tools or Proxy Course Tools, click on Export Course Info.
- The course information downloads to an excel file on the local machine
- The file is automatically named according to the ID of the selected course in the format Course[CourseID].xls. For example, Course41.xls
- Double-click the excel file to open the document.
- Click on the Details or Items workbooks for the appropriate course information
- Instructors can then print or save the file to the desired location
Faculty and users can export citations for items into any citation software, such as Endnote or Refworks, if it supports the RIS format (Research Information Systems).
- From the Main Menu, click on a course
- Click on an item from the course
- Click on Export Citation
