An asset is any of the components used to build a website or webpage in Cascade. Everything in the Explorer is an asset.

Folders – Folders store other assets to provide organization. Typically, Cascade organizes other assets into folders by type and by pages.
Pages – Pages are the most common assets. Pages are the individual webpages that users see once your site is published.
Files – Files are any non-specific asset. The majority of files in Cascade are images.
External Links – These icons represent an external linka link independent of another asset. Typically used to create a link in the navigation.
References – References allow you to reuse a previous image, link, or other asset without having to upload it more than once. This saves on memory.
Blocks – Blocks refer to "blocks" of code. Only web developers should create, delete, or modify blocks.
