Accordion Modules

Click here for an example of an Accordion Module.

An accordion module has the following fields:

Column (Module Selection)

Accordions can now be added into more than one column in a row, and in multiple rows on a page. Pages with accordions can also have more than just accordions on them now as well. Only one accordion section on a page can be open at any time. Select "Accordion" from the module selector under each individual Column dropdown.

You can have as many sub-sections in your accordion as you want. Cascade will start you with one, but just click the green + sign to add more. You can also rearrange your sub-sections using the gray up and down arrows.

To remove a sub-section of your accordion, click the red X button on the respective sub-section.

Title (optional)
This field appears at the very top of each accordion. It allows for the naming of the section on the page with a heading 2 tag.

Title Field
This field is used as the heading of a particular sub-section of your accordion (example in screenshotsthe second screenshot: Accordion Item One, Accordion Item Two, etc.) See an example of this field in the screenshot in the Accordion Anchors section below.

Content Field

This is a normal text editor field. Anything entered within the editor will be the expandable content for its respective accordion title. See an example of this field in the screenshot in the Accordion Anchors section below.

Accordion Anchors

Anchor
Use a name in this field to identify an anchor link. Use file naming conventions (e.g. no special characters, no capital letters, hyphens instead of spaces, etc).

After an anchor is defined, anchor links can be included elsewhere. When a user clicks on that link, it will take them to your page with that specific accordion field expanded and at the top of their browser.

For more about how to use anchor links, visit the Anchor page.
