Redirects
The web team processes redirects so that departments at the university can publicize more succinct URLs for their websites. An example of a redirect would be:
http://www.sandiego.edu/theartofpeace points to http://www.sandiego.edu/peacestudies/institutes/ipj/programs/art-of-peace
Redirect requests should be sent via e-mail to web@sandiego.edu. You will need to include both the vanity URL as well as where that redirect should point. The turnaround time for a redirect request is 1 business day from the time we receive the request.
