Workflow

Workflow is the editing and review process between Contributors and Developers. Review processes provide improved quality assurance for USD websites by ensuring potential issues are identified early in the process, and before they are posted to the Internet. 

Workflow is automatically initiated after any submitted modifications. Actual steps in the Workflow processes may vary depending on the project. Most Contributors will fall within the Publisher role. Technical Review is required for all websites and is performed by a member of the University Web Services Team.

Workflow Process


Technical Review is required for editing a page or creating a new page but is not required to delete assets.

When a Workflow process is initiated or modified, an email will be automatically generated to notify the appropriate users that action is required.
