Relationships

The Modifier Pane displays multiple windows for editing assets.

The Modifier Pane most commonly displays the Editing Window. When editing a page asset, the Editing Window displays in the Modifier PaneRelations are how assets relate to one another through links. Unlike everything else in Cascade, relationships don't exist as independent objects. Whenever a link is created on a page that links internally to another page in Cascade, it automatically forms a trackable relationship.

Being able to see relationships is important because it speeds up certain activities. For instance, when copying a page asset, other pages that linked to the original do not automatically link to the new copy. Viewing relationships on the original will make it easier to change those links to point to the new copy if necessary.
