Copying AssetsIf you need to copy an asset, you can do so by hovering over the file or folder name in the Explorer, right-clicking the asset and selecting Copy from the Shortcut Menu. You can also select an asset so it populates the Workspace, then click the More button in the Action Bar and select Copy. The Modifier Pane displays with the Copy Window showing. To finish copying the asset, it may need to be both moved and renamed. To rename it, click on the field under New Page Name and type in the new name. To move it, click on the folder icon next to New Folder. The Slider Pane will display. Select the new location. Browse to see a list of folders in your site, click on the desired new Parent Folder, and select Choose to complete the move. Click on Start Workflow to complete the copying process. Copying an asset will not make relationships that linked to the original asset link to the new copy. You will have to check relationships back to each page with a link to the original, and manually change those links to redirect to the new copy. |
