Moving/Renaming AssetsIf you need to move or rename an asset, you can do so by hovering over the file or folder name in the Explorer, right-clicking the asset and making a selection from the the Move/Rename option selecting Rename from the Shortcut Menu. Moving AssetsIf you need to reorder parts of your navigation, you will need to move assets to different areas of the site. To begin, right-click on the asset and select the Move/Rename option. Dragging and dropping the asset from one folder to another will also work. Either of these two actions will display the Modifier Pane with the Move Window showing. To move You can also select an asset so it populates the Workspace, then click the More button in the Action Bar and select Rename. The Modifier Pane displays with the Rename Window showing. To rename the file, click on the folder icon next to New Folder. The Slider Pane will display. Select the new location. Browse to see a list of folders in your site, click on the desired new Parent Folder, and select Choose to complete the move. field under New Page Name and type in the new name. Click on Start Workflow to complete the move process. Renaming AssetsTo rename a file, hover over the file and select the Move/Rename option. Type the new desired file name into the System Name field. Click on Send to Workflow to complete the renaming process. Please note that normal file naming standards apply. Do not use spaces, special characters, or uppercase letters. If the folder or file name is more than one word, separate the words with hyphens (e.g. torero-club-events). |
