Working with Existing Pages


Select a page to edit in the Explorer Pane. The webpage displays in Layout View. Not all elements display while in Layout View. Switch to Live to see how the published page will look.

Use the Asset Action Bar and its sub-menus to work with the selected page.

View – Displays a preview of the page.
  • Layout – Default view when a file is selected from the Explorer. Not all page elements will display, such as data from MyPostings, social media feeds, and your department's contact information.
    • Live – Previews page by displaying all elements. The page must be published at least once before this view will display.

  • Edit – Edit page content.
  • Copy – Copy the file to another location.
    • More – Displays the Delete, Reference, and Versions menu items.
  • Delete – Deletes the file. Deleted files are sent to the Recycle Bin. Items in the Recycle Bin are kept for 30 days before they are purged completely.
  • Reference – Link to any previously created page.
    • Versions – View previous versions of the file.

    in the Workspace. Some elements may not display such as icons or videos.

    Click the Edit Button in the Action Bar or select other options from the More Button such as Move, Rename, Copy, or Delete.

    You can also use the Shortcut Menu to access these Asset Actions.
