The WordPress Admin Bar appears along the top of every WordPress site allowing for quick access to editing.

Step 3: Fill in the Required Fields

In the Tool Pane, click on the Pages option

The banner is the large image running across all pages in the site.

Step 4: Edit the URL (Optional)

Once a title has been added to the page, wait a few seconds. Shortly, the page will update with a proposed URL (web address). If the address needs to be edited, click the edit button and make the appropriate edits.

Note: URLs must follow correct naming conventions.

Site Title and Tagline

The site title appears in the banner on every page with the site's tagline directly below it.

Step 5: Place the Page (Optional)

If the new page needs to be at the "top level" of your site, leave (no parent) in the Parent dropdown list.

If the new page needs to be "under" another page, then click the Parent dropdown list and select the correct parent page

Menu

The menu is sometimes referred to as the top navigation, the top nav, or simply, the nav.

Step 6: Select Template (Optional)

If the new page needs the default template appearance, leave default template in the Default Template dropdown list.

Otherwise, select the Full Width - No Sidebar option from the Default Template dropdown list. This will remove the Contact Information Panel from the right side of the page on the live webpage

Page Title

The title for each page displays here.

Body

This is the main content section of the page.



Step 7: Set Order (Optional)

If the new page needs to be placed at the top of whatever section it is being added to, leave 0 in the Order box.

Otherwise, type in whichever number placement from the top you need the new page to be in its new section into the Order box.

Right Side Panel

The side panel can include the contact panel and/or the quick links panel.

The side panel does not have to be used, as is the case with a full-width page layout.
