Search engines (like Google) use multiple factors to rank a page within search results. Other than the main content of a page, keep the three following items in mind:
- Title: A website's main page title within Cascade Server is the primary factor used by search engines when it ranks a page.
- Keywords: Keywords that appear in the content that can be highlighted on the page. In the CMS, each keyword is separated by commas
- (e.g. University of San Diego, admissions, leadership).
- Description: A brief description of the page contents.
Page Title
The title for a page in Cascade is the second field listed once you go into Edit Mode.

Keywords and Description
The keywords and description for a page can be edited by clicking on the Metadata Tab while in Edit Mode.
