Cross-listing courses in Ares

Cross listing enables Faculty and Full Proxy Users to add additional department and course number information to class details, enabling students to find courses using the alternative course information.

1. From the Main Menu, click on a current course

2. Click on Cross Listings in left navigation

3. The Course Details displays course information

4. If there are no cross listings, you will see under the "This course is also cross-listed as the following" section: Currently this course is not cross-listed. You may add cross-listings using the form below.

Open

1. Enter the Cross Listed Department and Cross Listed Course Name

2. Optionally, enter a Course Name and Section Number/Course Number

3. Click on Add Cross Listed Course

Open

1. The Course Details page displays your additional course information, on the Main Menu course listing, under Upcoming and Current Courses, and on the Course Details Page

Deleting

1. From the Main Menu, click on the course that contains the Cross Listing you want to remove

2. Click on Cross Listings in left navigation

3. Clicking on Remove associated with the cross listing you want to remove
