Cascade Eccentricities

  1. You can simultaneously edit two separate assets. One with the Asset Action Bar, and another with the Asset Action Menu.

  2. You cannot make edits to assets currently locked with Workflow.

  3. Clicking “Cancel” does not provide a confirmation window before deleting all edits.

  4. Clicking "Update Draft" does not provide obvious confirmation.

  5. Every time the Edit Tab is selected, a draft is saved. Even if you click “Cancel.”

  6. Selecting a site will automatically highlight the last asset your account used in the Explorer Pane. However, that asset is NOT actually selected.

  7. Reordering the navigation does not necessitate the creation of a Workflow, but it does require a publish.

  8. When “Current” is selected in the Viewing Outputs, the option for “Compare with Current” disappears.

  9. When “Compare with Current” is selected in the Viewing Outputs, “Working Copy” remains bolded.

  10. Hovering the cursor over search bar results will force Cascade to select the result being hovered over.

  11. Folders without an index page will not display any other pages within it.

  12. Browser loading for Cascade functions differently. Chrome continues to display a “working swirl” while content is loading in Cascade. Firefox displays the working swirl for only a moment, then stops before the content is actually loaded.

  13. Any data saved in a Module will remain in that Module field, even if that Module is changed to a different Module.

  14. Table "handles" cannot be manually dragged.

  15. Cascade can generate error messages during training when too many people are submitting changes to the same site.

  16. Selecting the Options Arrow on an asset doesn't immediately highlight that asset.
