How to Add a Link

Step 1: Highlight the Text to Turn Into a Link

In the Page Editor, highlight text in the Content Editor.

The highlighted text will become the link text for the link. Make sure it is descriptive link text to comply with accessibility standards.

Step 2: Click the Insert/Edit Link Button

Click the Insert/edit link button. Hovering the cursor over the button will display the tooltip for the button.

Alternatively, you can also use the keyboard shortcut command for Control + K (or Command + K on a Mac).

The Link Editor bar will display.

Step 3: Insert the URL into the Link Editor

Copy and paste the desired URL into the Link Editor bar.

Step 4: Click the Apply Button

Click the Apply button on the right of the Link Editor.

Step 5: Click the Update Button

When all of your changes are complete, click the Update button.
