Getting Access to the USD Email Builder

STEP 1: Approval

Approval to use the USD Email Builder must be granted by University Communications. To get started please contact with Mike Sauer at msauer@sandiego.edu or (619) 260-7401.

STEP 2: Training

Once you've been authorized to use the USD Email Builder, you will need to complete the following trainings. Do not sign up for these trainings unless you have received approval from University Communications to use the USD Email Builder. Access will only be provided after you have been approved as a user and completed all training.

  1. Cascade Server: Select any one of the 'Cascade for Website Editing' options for basic Cascade Server and accessibility training topics.

  2. Image Manipulation for the Web: Select 'Image Manipulation for the Web' to learn how to work with images for email and web purposes.

  3. USD Email Builder: On-demand video training for the USD Email Builder. This video will only be accessible to those who have been marked in the system as completing the first two courses.

STEP 3: Access

Once all training has been completed, you will be prompted to submit an online access request for the USD Email Builder tool. Approval from University Communications, plus your attendance and completion of training requirements will be reviewed before you will be granted access to the USD Email Builder for your department or area.
