Copy Group

Cascade has added a new option to copy all of the data in a specific component. The duplicated group will inherit all of the original content and any toggled settings.

On each component and item in Cascade, a new icon has been added for “Copy group.” Clicking this will duplicate all of the information and settings for the component or item corresponding to that particular Copy group icon.

Component and Item

The ability to copy groups exists both on the component level and at the individual item level. Meaning that you can copy all information about a component (like copying the entire accordion in the screenshot to the right) and all of its item entries and settings. Or, you could copy only a single item within the same component (like the first item in the screenshot to the right).

Copied Group

Once the Copy group icon is clicked, Cascade will take some time to reload. This usually takes a few seconds, but if there are a lot of components on the page or you’re working on a wi-fi connection, it may take several minutes.

When Cascade is done reloading, you will notice the copied component or item will appear under the original component or item.
