Making Assigned Modifications in Workflow

Changes made in Cascade often require follow up modifications. If one of your edits was returned by a Technical Reviewer, you will have to follow a different process to edit the page.

You will NOT be able to edit the page normally while it is locked in Workflow.

Follow the steps below to make assigned modifications to a page locked in Workflow.

STEP 1: Display Workflows

In Cascade, click the Cascade Server Icon to navigate back to your Dashboard. The Dashboard will display.

STEP 2: Select the Specific Workflow

Click on the specific Workflow listed in the Dashboard's Workflows widget. This displays the Workflow in your Workspace.

STEP 3: Select the Workflow Tab

Click on the specific Workflow Name to display it in the Workspace. This displays the current status of the Workflow.

STEP 4: Open the Workflow

Click the Workflow Name of the page next to Review Content. The file in Workflow will now display in the Workspace close to how conventional navigation presents it. The ability to compare edits between drafts displays.

STEP 5: Edit the Workflow

Select the Edit Tab in the Asset Action Bar. The Workspace will now display content capable of being edited.

STEP 6: Submit Changes

Once your edits are complete, click Submit to resubmit your changes to Workflow for approval.
