Submitting MyPostings Items to Newsnotes (for Staff/Admin)

You can include MyPostings items (news, spotlights, events, announcements) in Faculty Newsnotes beginning Fall 2019.

 If you have questions along the way regarding Newsnotes, please contact the marketing liaison of your school or college. If you have general MyPostings questions please email mypostings@sandiego.edu. 

Instructions

  1. Log in to https://www.sandiego.edu/mypostings/

  2. Fill out your MyPostings item as you normally would. View the complete MyPostings documentation if you have never done this before.

  3. In addition to your normal post details, under the Where to Post section of the form, be sure to check the "USD: Faculty Newsnotes" filter. See screenshot below.

  4. Submit your post and wait for it to be approved. The typical 24-hour approval turnaround still applies when you create or update any MyPostings post.

NOTES:

  • The Provost Office has the ability to check or uncheck this filter for any post to tailor which posts will show in a Newsnotes issue.
