Making Assigned Modifications in Workflow

Changes made in Cascade often require further modifications. If one of your edits was returned by a Technical Reviewer, you will have to follow a different process to edit the page.

You will NOT be able to edit the page normally while it is locked in Workflow.

Follow the steps below to make assigned modifications to a page locked in Workflow.

STEP 1: Display Workflows

In Cascade, click the Cascade Server Icon to navigate back to your Dashboard. The Dashboard will display.

STEP 2: Select the Workflow Tab

Click on the Workflow tab in the My Content area.

Alternatively, Workflows can also be reached by clicking on the My Content Tab in the toolbar and selecting the Workflow tab there.

STEP 3: Select the Specific Workflow

Click on the specific Workflow Name to display it in the Workspace. This displays the current status of the Workflow.

STEP 4: Edit the Workflow

Click on the Edit link under the Available Actions section. A comment box will display.

STEP 5: Submit Comment

Cascade assume a comment would be left here to remark on why the edit is being made. Feel free to ignore this, and immediately click on the Submit Comment button to advance to the next step.

STEP 6: Make Edits, Then Save & Preview

Make any assigned edits and finish by clicking the Save & Preview button.

STEP 7: Click Advance

If all of the edits look correct in the preview, resubmit the Workflow by clicking the Submit or the Advance button.

The Submission Popup will display.

STEP 8: Check Content & Submit

Finally, finish resubmitting the Workflow by clicking the Check Content & Submit button, making any necessary spelling, link, or accessibility corrections, and then resubmitting the Workflow.
