Viewing Outputs

The Viewing Outputs area of the UI has two possible dropdown menus. The Viewing Options dropdown, and the Output Options dropdown.

Viewing Options

The Viewing Options displays when your account has a saved draft available for the file currently displayed on the Workspace.

  • Current - Displays the file currently published file in Cascade Sever. If Current is selected, edits made will overwrite any changes previously saved to a draft of that file.

  • Draft - Displays the file with any recent changes you have made that had not yet been submitted to Workflow. Select Draft to continue making edits to your previous work. Draft saves will never be published until it has been sent to Workflow and approved.

Output Options

Outputs list any viewing styles you may have available for the file. Developers may see several options, while maintainers may have one option, or none at all.

  • HTML - Uses the default Cascade view to show post-formatted or "rich text formatting."

  • XML - Displays the actual HTML and CSS code used to create and format the file.

  • 2015 - The default view for sites that have been upgraded into the latest template.
